Archives, read in full
The Reading agent reads your archive collections, scans, letters and recordings, in most languages. It reads every page and remembers every line. Ask it a question, and it answers with the exact page and the archive reference. The Research agent adds what it finds on the web, in the press and in public registers.
A dated timeline
The Reading agent dates each event and builds the timeline. For example, you give it three archive collections on a textile mill, 4,212 pages in all. It builds a timeline from 1958 to 1971, with 146 dated events, each with its archive reference. The work takes 1 hour 40 minutes, and you can keep working in the meantime. When two documents give different dates, Verbatim shows you the disagreement.
Witnesses, found
The People agent finds who worked on the site, who signed the documents and who gave statements at the time. It maps who worked with whom and works out how to reach each person. It drafts the interview request, which you check with the “Review and send” button. During the interview, Verbatim transcribes every word and checks every date mentioned against the archives.
Every date checked
The Checking agent checks every date, name and figure in the manuscript against its excerpt. Each claim receives a status: Supported, Contradicted, Not found or Checking. Verbatim rejects any claim it cannot trace to a source. An analysis, an opinion or a figure of speech never receives a fact status.
Chapter, sequence, detailed outline
The Long-form writing project type offers three drafts: the chapter, the sequence and the detailed outline. The detailed outline ties each part to its sources. The documentary sequence lists each shot, what it shows and its voice-over. The style engine, developed with linguists, learns your style from your published work. Every correction refines your style profile.

Yes. A project keeps its sources, monitoring, drafts and history for as long as the work lasts. The agents work on it for days or months.
Is my manuscript used to train AI?
No. Your content is never used to train third-party AI. It is hosted and processed in Europe, and your style profile belongs to your account.
